Dear Friends,

 

I promised an update on our progress to raise the $2,000 needed to send Emmanuel Quee to Sierra Leone for the final stage of his corrective surgery…

 

At the moment, (10:30 AM, Friday, November 02, 2007) we have raised about $1,200.   We’re making definite progress.  We will be taking a special offering at church this Sunday morning.

 

By faith, I’ve instructed Pastor Andrew to get Emmanuel and his care worker ready to travel.   I told him we would send the full amount needed for the trip by November 8^th.   I’m actually intending to have the funds transferred on the 7^th, but told him the 8^th in case we don’t get it done early enough here for him get into town to pick it up before the close of business on Wednesday.  Liberia is about 6 hours ahead of us and transportation to the Western Union office may not always be readily available. 

 

Please keep praying with us to finish our fund raising effort with God’s strength.  If you intend to contribute, please be sure to get it to us by Tuesday, November 6^th and mark it with the words “FOOT MONEY.”
