Emmanuel came to the Victorious Faith Refuge Home in December of 2005 from Nimba County, a rural interior area of Liberia. Emmanuel is one of 9 brothers and sisters, all except him have died. Emmanuel’s father brought him to the refuge home because he knew that without an education Emmanuel would have no chance in life. Emmanuel enjoys dancing, joking and laughing. He had two club feet that forced him to walk bowlegged on the sides of his feet. His feet have been surgically corrected.
